4. Visit to a Fair

Yesterday, my friends and I visited the village fair, which was a truly exhilarating experience. The moment we entered, we were greeted by a symphony of happy noises and the sight of countless colourful tents. Stalls displayed beautiful clothes, sparkling jewellery, and various handicraft items. The air was filled with delicious aromas from food stalls selling hot snacks and sweets. We spent a lot of time on the merry-go-round and the giant Ferris wheel, from where we could see the entire fairground. After playing some games and buying some small toys, we headed home with happy memories of the fun-filled day.

5. The Shepherd Boy and the Wolf

Once there was a shepherd-boy who was tending sheep in a field. He was very fond of making fun. One day he cried loudly, “Wolf! Wolf!” Hearing this, the farmers from nearby fields ran to him with sticks. But there was no wolf and the boy laughed out loudly. The farmers returned to their fields angrily. After some time, the boy played the same trick again and again the farmers came but found no wolf. One day a real wolf came and attacked the sheep. The boy cried, “Wolf! Wolf!” but nobody came. The wolf killed some sheep and the boy learned a hard lesson.
